Designed by a Premier Hickory Drumsticks Manufacturer and drummer Scott "MachineGun Smith". The stick measures in a 5B, with extra length. The extra length gives some added weight and a bit more reach. Nicely weighted and durable, this is a perfect stick for hard-hitting drumming. Stick is finished with a lacquer and light wax with artwork featuring MachineGunSmith logo and Signature.
The MachineGunSmith line combines tradition and a metal style. With bold designs for fuller sound, the sticks are turned from select hickory, a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable.The wood tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response. "These were developed to give me that extra edge to push me to the limits of my performances."

Competitors included Mike Portnoy, Neil Peart, Phil Collins, Dave Grohl etc. When asked to comment he stated "I'm at a loss for words. This is beyond unbelievable. Something like this reminds me every day why I continue to do this".
